“2nd International E-Conference on Mathematical and Statistical Sciences: A Selcuk Meeting” is an activity of Faculty of Science of Selçuk University. Selçuk University, which is founded in 1975, is situated in Konya, Türkiye. The faculty of Science of Selçuk University is the main organizer of ICOMSS’23 with its departments of Mathematics, Statistical Sciences, and Actuarial Sciences.

ICOMSS conference series was initiated in 2022 and first ICOMSS was held in 20-22 October 2022 online, see the webpage.

Two earthquakes measuring 7.7 took place on 6 February 2023 at 04:17 in Pazarcık district of Kahramanmaraş and 7.6 took place at 13:24 in Elbistan district of Kahramanmaraş. It was felt intensely in the surrounding provinces, especially in Kahramanmaraş, Hatay, Osmaniye, Adıyaman, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakır, Malatya, Kilis and Adana.

Unfournately, around 46000 people lost their life and 13,5 million people directly effected by the earthquakes.

In order to meet the urgent needs of our citizens in the disaster many organizations, public institutions and international communities have supported the peoples.

In this frame, we decided to organize second ICOMSS to be able to support the students and peoples effected by earthquakes. Therefore, the registartion fees of ICOMSS’23 will be donated to them.

There is no registration fee for students and academicians directly effected by earthquakes.

The Conference will be devoted to recent advances in the fields

and the Applications of these fields in other areas.

The conference is only online and there is registration fee (will be donated to students and peoples effected by earthquake). The presentation language is English and the abstracts must be prepared according to LateX Template with the instructions which are available here. The all submissions will be peer-reviewed by at least two referees and the submissions which are accepted will be allowed to be presented. The selected papers presented in ICOMSS’23 will be published in the special issues of the Conference journals. Some of these journals have Article Process Charge in original. However, they want to offer free publication for ICOMSS’23 as donation.

Moreover, after evaluation process by the scientific committee of the conference, accepted full-text Proceedings will be published in “2023 Proceedings of International E-Conference on Mathematical and Statistical Sciences: A Selcuk Meeting” (ISBN: 978-625-00-8778-7) and this book will be published after the conference is over.
